Information Technology Department

The department offers undergraduate program of BE (Information Technology). This program was started in the year 2008.The intake capacity for the program is 60.The department is spread across two floors in the main building.

The department has well qualified staff. The department has excellent laboratory facilities including five software and hardware laboratories. Various application and system software are available with the department which is in accordance with the latest trends in the technology.

The college has a MoU with HCL INFOSYSTEM in 2011.

The students of this department have been participating in various National level events. The department of Information Technology has student’s club named ‘Information Technocrats Student Association (ITSA)’ which has been successful in motivating the future technocrats by organizing various technical events. A Technical event "ROBOGRAPHY" is successfully organised by ITSA ( Information Technocrats Student Association ) on 6 & 7 March 2011.

A separate departmental library consisting of previous seminar reports, Project Reports, various manuals is available to help students make study material readily available. In addition to this, the college library has a very good collection of academic and general information books and subscriptions for journals on the topics related to the study of the Information Technology.

Our dedicated full-time faculty, who not only strive to excel in the classrooms, but are always here to help students. The department has young and enthusiastic faculty members who provide expertise in their areas of interests which are major areas of Information Technology. The summary of all of these elements makes the Information Technology Department a very exciting place to be.
